I’ve noticed songs downloaded directly to my computer can be saved in Prepared Stems without a problem, but it refuses to do it for songs on my external hard drive.
I’m running the latest version of VDJ on Mac, the external hard drive is from an old Windows PC.

Works fine for me (Mac external formatted as AFPS).
Given by default stems files are written alongside the original file, is the locaton of the file you are trying to prepare stems for writeable?
