ok, couldn't get the old laptop (win 10, vdj current) to do a backup...so looked up manually moving everything.
AFAIK i got it right...but apparently not so much.
Instructions says while the directory structure is the same bet 10 and 11, the file locaions for VDJ are not the same.
AFAIK I put the music files in the same place...
I got the history and playlists to show in VDJ.
I can see itunes and all my songs under LOCAL music...
BUT VDJ doesn't find the files unless i do a recursive on each and every folder...you can imagine how many , um, years this may take to do LOL
Is there another way? I know I can drag and drop ...but with nearly 40,000 songs that isn't going to be easy either.
So, how do I get VDJ to find my files?

i thnk i've done it!
still missing a few songs...what's the easiest way to add them when you KNOW you have it but the computer is being blind?
