Topic: One for the scripters
Whats the script to record a current playing loop on deck 1 for example (with stems turned on -in this case just the drums- but could also be any stem/s i have playing in loop) to record and instantly play in sampler?

I can only make one ( sampler_rec) that works when all stems are active currently.

loop recording doesn't capture the sound, it captures from the file, to capture with stem cuts you need to sample record start record stop
 
Thanks LD i did manage to record just the playing loop (with the stems tinkered) by changing the sampler trigger settings although it was a complete fluke lol

I will try your suggestion.

Also and forgive my uselessness when scripting, im trying to map a toggle button on controller for a specific sample bank for sampler fx on - but can get it to turn on but not toggle (ive tried putting ‘toggle’ in script) any advice? Thanks
 
what do you have now? because what you're aiming for isn't clear with what you've described thus far.
 
Im not in to show right now will post later- but from memory i think its ‘ sampler_bank "Your Bank Name" & effect_active 'sampler'
