I have this happen from time to time -recently at a gig with a linked song-, where the file is no longer associated with the song when I click on it and fails to load. Can someone explain why this happens? I can right-click 'Relocate missing file', but I don't understand why it happens in the first place, and if there is something I need to be doing to keep this from happening.

If relocate works then you can probably find out why it happens by right clicking tag editor and checking if the path matches

There's quite a few missing songs. If I just remove them all from the database, and the songs exist in my music folder will VDJ add them the next time I restart?
