Im currently working on a new system that will link directly into VDJ as a plugin or optional run through web that will overlay onto a screen as a live video wall.
I am still in early development of this and I no there is some options out there i just dont find them that great or very over priced.
Currently it runs with a QR code on screen that people can link to which they can send you messages in a chat room style or requests and even pics and videos.
These can all run back end on the site which can auto push to screens or have you moderate them.
The point of this post getting into it was what sort of features would make this worth while to you and what do you think others have missed.
I have lots of ideas for it but interested in community feedback.
Attached is a live shot from it running in a club today in its very early stages
Total messages through the night for this test run ended up being 845 so not bad for interaction.

IMHO the problem with all these integrations is always the same:
One person can do only so much..
You cannot play music, socialize with your audience and moderate a live feed at the same time..
You will eventually need an extra person to moderate the feed, at which point the whole endeavor goes to another level with a whole set of other options.
Leaving the feed unattended is not really an option. It's very easy, even on small local pubs for things to go wild.
As for the service itself, I find that it doesn't (nor it should) belong anywhere.
Small pubs, yes, fine I guess.
Weddings ? Where the focus should be the couple that got married and the dancefloor ? Hell no! The last thing you want is people looking at more screens..
Same goes for clubs.. You want people to dance. So you need to elevate the dancefloor, not degrade it by having people staring at screens..
Anyway, this is my personal opinion.. Take whatever you like from it.

I appreciate your thoughts on it and yes everyone is welcome to them..
However i have found the screen interaction a massive boost for the clubs ive been working in people keep dancing but 90% of the time the generation of people out there now are always on their phone but this way they can still be a part of whats going on.
I fully get what you mean about auto-allowing posts, etc. This is why it's an option to turn on and not default. Trust me, some of the stuff that comes through is 100% not ok for a live screen.
Moderation, however I have spent many long hours working on this, trying to make it as easy as possible while not being intrusive to what you are doing.
One of the big draws to me with VDJ was its ability to work with Screens which is why i went down this route. 100% though i think this is a great system for weddings ect and has been built to be as customisable as possible.. IE if you don't want to have messages, switch them off its all able to be toggled on and off.
