I think it's the opposite. Natural language helps people without being software engineer.
For example, today you can create an application with IA without knowing how to code. In the past, if you work in an office, in general, you had to ask to this IT guy to code in Excel formula, VBA, python, sql and he was overwhelmed by requests. Now you can do it by yourself and be more efficient.
To my mind, it opens door to creativity instead of limiting based on knowledge.
