Topic: MyLists location change??
Hi folks,

While playlist building this morning I couldn't find the saves files for transfer to other machines. I have VirtualDJ in Documents/VirtualDJ and in AppData/Local.v..... But in B9583 its moved to the ext drive?

list files are made on the drive that holds the tracks contained.

Thank you, when did that happen?

It worked like that at least since vdj 7.

Dear Adion, That's just not true, what happened to the documents/VDJ/MyLists or AppData/Local/VDJ/MyLists ??? I need more than a glib response because I have hundreds of playlists all over the place, but never on the drive, I have at least 3 drives at any one time.

If most of your lists were imports of older m3u playlists, they might have been set with hotplug disabled.
If you want the lists not to be hotplug compatible (ie stored on the drive where the files are) you can right-click the list and disable hotplug.
You can also use the disableHotplugForNewLists option to disable it for new lists too.

In general I think it would be preferred that the lists stay on the drive where the music is though (since the list is not useful without the music present anyway)

Hi Adion,

Thank you for the info, I've no problem working with it. No most playlists were built in the player in .vfdfolder and af course older .m3us

Thank you

Mike
