Booting VDJ on my new Mac and it takes approximately one minute for the software to load up! I turned off WiFi and now VDJ is able to boot instantly.
I've disabled as much of the online stuff as possible inside of VDJ and also tried logging out and back in, any ideas?

Which VirtualDJ build?

It was happening with the latest public release, I then installed the new early access build and the problem persists.

It's worth noting that I've only just moved from PC to Mac, I recovered my old database on the Mac.
No issues so far apart from the 1 minute load time of VDJ (which only applies when online).

Same thing is happening to one of my friends who has a Mac. Over a minute for VDJ to load the interface.

Was this a restore of a backup produced by Windows or a mirror of the VirtualDJ folder from the Windows Machine?
Does it happen with a fresh settings.xml?
It starts pretty much instantly for all my Mac machines, but I've always had my main install on Mac.

Update: Startup lag Resolved!
Default DNS settings (in system settings) were the culprit, I switched to google public DNS servers and this resolved things instantly.
Interestingly this has never been an issue before for me (on ant of my PCs), so perhaps this info will help someone else.
