I would like to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly improve the Karaoke function in VirtualDJ.
Currently, there is no way to manually choose whether the lyrics displayed on screen should come from Deck 1 or Deck 2. The software automatically switches based on playback, and this often creates problems during live performances.
For example, if Deck 1 is playing and I slightly raise the volume fader of Deck 2 while preparing the next song, the lyrics from Deck 2 can immediately appear on screen, replacing the lyrics of the song that is still being performed on Deck 1.
It would be very useful to have manual control over which deck provides the lyrics. Here are two possible solutions:
Add an option similar to the Video Mixer, where the displayed lyrics follow the Crossfader position instead of simply detecting which deck is playing.
Alternatively, add a dedicated button that allows the DJ to manually switch the lyrics display between Deck 1 and Deck 2, regardless of which deck is currently playing.
This would provide much better control during karaoke performances and prevent unwanted lyric changes while cueing or preparing the next track.
Thank you for your time and for continuously improving VirtualDJ. I hope you will consider adding this feature in a future update.

Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it.
I also tried disabling **Master Deck Auto** and manually selecting either **Deck 1** or **Deck 2** as the Master Deck, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to make any difference.

For anyone experiencing the same issue, I was able to resolve it this way.
I noticed that this functionality already existed, but it was affected by a bug. After installing the latest version, released on June 29, 2026, Virtual now performs the transition karaoke between one deck and the other perfectly
The relevant bug fix mentioned in the release notes is:
Fix using karaoke and lyrics plugins on individual decks instead of master.
