Are there any midi mapping for these, how do other folk use the PX5 with VDJ?

there's not a lot of it that would make sense to midi map really, like sure there would be stuff you could do with it if it was midi mapped but there's no baseline default use for it that would apply to general users, all the midi bits are also tied to hardware functions.
A DAW environment it would make sense but dj software you'd have to be doing specific things with specific routings and most of that can be covered with simple-midi [no need for a definition file]

Possible. Everything on it sends MIDI, but It's not needed. It' an analog mixer. Why pay for a sweet sounding analog mixer just to use as a software controller.
A really nice addition to the PX5, for software control, is the K3. I use it for hot cues, stem control and stems with effects. That in combination with the PX5's EQ, filter, and effects makes for a very capable set up.
