Hi, I’m hoping you can help me, because I’m at a loss. The beat synchronization issue has three possible error messages:
- Without Auto Sync: BPMs matched, pressed Play; visually, they’re perfectly aligned, but the songs are out of sync. On the left player, I have to “shift” the beats to the left to get them back in sync.
- Without Auto Sync: same issue, but on Player 2 I have to shift them to the right instead; see attached example image.
- With Auto Sync: visually, the audio tracks are perfectly aligned, but often the sound isn’t at all, and it hurts my ears.
One trick that works at least 75% of the time is pressing Play and Beat Sync simultaneously. But unfortunately, it happens too often that the songs don’t sync here either.
I used to have a Hercules console… that’s when the problem started creeping in over the last few weeks. Now I have a Pioneer FLX-10, and unfortunately, the problem persists.
Can anyone help me figure out what’s causing this? I’m on the verge of giving up on VDJ 😞

In all the cases above, if u press SYNC on any of the decks a couple of seconds after start playing , do the Tracks get properly aligned in both audio and skin ?

I guess I found the problem. Over the last months VDJ changed the set beats and sometimes even the bpm of several songs. Some of them which habe been purchased in the last year but also within the last 15 years. Glad I have a lot of songs not only one but several copies in different folders. Those are still as they should be.
Why does that even happen? How can I avoid that?
