This is not a preview update, and there's language in the release notes about "last month's feature" update. So, presumably this will fix the MIDI problem many of us had starting in February. Let's see.

Let everyone know if the 2026-03 Security Update (KB5079473) (26200.8037), is Safe, and plays well with Midi.
FYI, I had the issue with Midi, with 2026-02 Security Update (KB5077181) (26200.7840), and had to uninstall (actually revert to system backup) to get all my controllers to work as expected.
A github discussion, suggests the MS fix, will be closer to the end of the month.

I spoke too soon. This messed up all the fixes and jerryrigs that had gotten my Hercules RMX back online as a MIDI device (it's still seen as a sound card with ASIO drivers, but there is no control over the knobs and sliders).
