Topic: DDJ-800 Pad Page no longer being controlled.
hi . (Title should be DDJ-800 not CDJ-800)
I notice about a month pass, that the Pad Page is no longer changing based on the controller selection, and opposite is true when changing in VDJ to the controller.

Every other item is control fine, but when first starting the software, the master volumn blink to appear and disappear for a few seconds. Like appear, disappear, etc.

forgive me not sure how to explain exact wording.

When I look in Controller Activity it blink : ONEXIT ONINIT

Pad pages ? Hmm perhaps u mean DDJ-800 not CDJ.
Try the "factory default" Mapping in case you use some custom one and see if you now control those.

I try to replace USB port, no change.

I try to go to factory setting, no change.

I order new cable for test and will reply of result.

Tried a new USB cable and ports, still cannot change the Pad Pages.
 
So, with the new cable, you still get the ONEXIT/ONINIT keys in the Key Learn (Activity) area in Mapping ?

While those ONINIT/ONEXIT keys "blink" in the Activity, do you also get audio drops ?

About the Pad pages controls, can you try with the Factory default Mapping instead of your Custom one ?

Sound is not drop out. Only time ONINIT / ONEXIT happen when change mapping.
I use factory default , Try 3 different USB new cable , Try all different Ports and nothing change.

I can say, before i was use older version the VDJ and it send me message say that my version to old and must upgrade. before nothing was trouble, alway worked to control DDJ-800. zero issue. After upgrade to 2026 version this all starting.

I am complete lost what to do.

I suggest that in order to confirm whether the problem is the controller or VDJ software, you should try the controller with other software - Rekordbox, Serato, Traktor, djay Pro etc - to see if it works correctly there.
 
I use DDJ-800 every Friday.
It works perfectly with VirtualDJ.
Now, maybe language is an issue here.

That's normal. When you switch mappers, these mappers go through the ONEXIT and ONINIT procedures.

Now, please do this:
1) Use the default mapper
2) Use the default skin
3) Follow the instructions here https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/decksadvanced/pads.html#controller as this is the correct way to assign pad pages on a controller

I'm asking you to use the default skin to do this task because I'm not sure if the skin you're using supports pad page assignment or not. From your screenshot I can see that you use a custom skin, but I can't tell which one.
If you suceed in changing the pad page assignment and you wish, you can restore your custom skin afterwards. The changes will stay.

It work fine of rekordbox. It strange just Pad Page not work
Can control all item with VDJ , not Pad Page any more .
