When I customize an effect like echo out, the changes aren’t saved session to session. I was expecting the settings to be remembered the next time I open VDJ. Any idea how to keep the settings? Thank you

FX settings DO get saved. However, if you use a controller these settings may get overridden when you start VirtualDJ because controller controls (knobs and sliders) take priority.
So, as a first troubleshooting step, test if FX settings stay when you use the program without a controller.
If they do, then we can talk about what other steps you can take to minimize the issue when you use a controller (as it's more or less controller specific)

Thank you for the reply and you are correct! I opened VDJ without being connected to the controller and the setting help. Closed, connected to the controller and reset the settings. I have a pioneer did-sb2 and denon mc4000. Thoughts on how to fix?

Check their manual and set them to 3FX mode if applicable.
This way, only the first parameter (dry/wet) will get overridden by the controller..

Unfortunately, they don’t have that mood in the controller. Apparently it has to be done the other software for me to control all the parameters, including feedback, reverb, color, etc..
