I am trying to develop a new remote skin to mirror my own main skin creation, but am running into a few problems...
1. There doesn't seem to be a lot of recent discussion about remote skins with VDJ2020-2026. Is it still supported?
2. Apart from video preview support, are there any other features which are not supported? I can download and run original VDJ8 skins but when I transfer any of my own creations to the Remote skins folder, they do not show up as options in Phone/tablet tab on interface.
3. Although AI is suggesting the skins for remote follow the same syntax, is there a limited instruction set, or a 'hidden' SDK for remote skins?
I'm really keen to get a remote skin up and running while I'm on holidays; any pointers/suggestions very much appreciated! Cheers peeps!

No, there's not any hidden SDK
All the info you need exists on the default remote skin and on these forums.
Your "own" skin most likely cannot be placed "as is" to act as a remote skin.
You will need to recode it for that purpose.
Most of the code (more than 90%) will most likely be identical/recycled.
However some parts will need to be coded differently.
Finally, place your skin as a zip file inside "RemoteSkins" folder.

Happy New Year!!
I have zipped the files but no joy.
Which parts (apart from video preview) are not compatible with Remote? Is there a list of allowable verbs/syntax somewhere? Or is it better to just try and adapt the default skin?
Thank you for your advice :)

If you send me the zip [in pm's], I'll see what I can see.
