So I set stemsRealtimeSeparation to On-demand and stemsSavedStels on automatic because I was not able to understand how Manual was working here... But I wasn't more lucky with this latest choice.
I was expecting that, with automatic, my tracks would be automatically marked as stem-separated in the browser.
I was expecting that, with Manual, my tracks would be instantaneously marked as stem-separated in the browser if I clicked on Save prepared stems.
None of this happen.
I have to relaunch a manual stem calculation operation to get the result.
Do I miss something?
Thanks.

1) stemsRealtimeSeparation -> On-demand means that stems separation will NOT happen unless you try to actually use stems on the track (via pads or eq)
2) stemsSavedStems -> automatic means that the stems will get saved WHEN they get calculated for the very first time.
For the above combo of settings to work with you have in mind, you must load a track on a deck AND USE stems on that track as well.
Otherwise stems separation will not happen and of course stems will not get saved.

OK thanks for the clarification.
My mistake was to think that the blue "stem" icon would appear as soon as the stems 2.0 are available.
In fact, it works as expected, but the stems saving has a little delay.
