Dear everyone,

I’m having a problem with my Pioneer FLX10 controller. Specifically, here’s what’s happening:

Within the pad section, when I select Pad FX — I tried both the original settings and creating new ones — I managed to set Pad 7 to Echo Out and Pad 8 to Reverb, and everything worked great. Then I set Pad 6 to Break Start, and that also worked perfectly, both on the left and right decks, using the Custom mode.

However, when I switched to the 4-deck mode, everything still worked fine on Decks 1 and 2. But on Decks 3 and 4, Reverb and Echo Out work perfectly, while Break Start doesn’t do anything.

I tried adjusting some settings, but now everything is completely messed up — when I press Break Start on Deck 3 or 4, it triggers Echo Out instead.

Could you please help me fix all these problems and set up my device so that it works simply and properly?

HOW you "managed to set X pad do Y thing" matters a lot.

So let us know what did first. Try to provide as many details as possible.
 
I will send video so you can see, i asked and chat gpt for help, but still had lot of issues ,so i will record it all
 
Chat GPT isn't going to help with a specific problem on a specific controller with specific software.
 
 
 
I saw this post but I didn’t figure out what to do, can someone please make some video instructions , whats i need to do ? 🙏
 
Not clear which Pads page is called from Decks 1 , 3. Is it PadsFX or some other "custom" ?
Can you post the content of your PadFX.xml or Custom.xml (or some other name you have in your /Pads folder ?

For your other issue (Deck 3 not starting), can you assign a skin Custom button as touchwheel_touch and see if it is enabled on Deck 3 while you experience this issue ?

One explanation about the FXs not triggered properly would be the "dual Deck mode" enabled when SHIFT+DECK sel buttons is pressed and applies to several controller buttons incl Pads. One easy way to know if enabled is to map a skin custom button as dualdeckmode and see if enabled at that time.
