Is it possible to include a soft white gradient from the center along the x-axis in the scratchwave panel.
Below is the basic XML file part that discribe the scratch wave part. If possible, what lines have to be included?

Not directly.
You can possibly overlay the entire waveform with a <square /> element and adjust it's color and visibility to achieve a somehow similar result.
