I was checking out the new Rane One MKII but I think it has too much crap built into it for my needs. I sorta like the wheels spinning like platters but it probably has way to much effects for my needs. Seems most are running Pioneer of some type. I do mostly corporate, some weddings, oldie (50-60) shows and some 80-90 shows. I need to use a 19" laptop because it is easier to read for me. I do not scratch.

Pioneer FLX10 is a good all rounder and works perfectly with VDJ.

A better question (to make sure you get what you need/not make this turn into a controller popularity contest) - for your gigs, what do you require? Things you may consider:
The original suggestion (DDJ-FLX10) is excellent, but might not tick all of the boxes/might be way more than what you need.

    - Size and weight requirements?
- Number of deck channels?
- Kind of controls (e.g. do you need stems immediately available from controls)
- Do you need standalone ability?
USB sticks as a form of fallback for laptop failure
- Do you need easy switchover abilitability
E.g. Easy switchover to another laptop in case of failure
- Do you need track preview/sandbox ability?
By preview I mean through the preview panel not traditional PFL.
- Are you familiar with a certain controller/FX layout already?
