I'll explain.
I have two main folders: "video" and "mp3".
In VirtualDJ (VDJ), everything works correctly with files located in the "video" folder. When I right-click on those files, I get full file operation options (like delete, copy, or move).
However, for any file located in the "mp3" folder, I don’t see the file operation menu when I right-click. That means I can't delete, copy, or move those files from within VDJ.
I initially suspected a permissions issue, but everything seems to be in order — VDJ has Full Disk Access in macOS settings.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
I removed and re-added the "mp3" folder in the database search in VDJ.
I copied the mp3 folder to another location to test if the folder was corrupted — same problem.
I copied a problem file from the mp3 folder into the video folder (which normally works), but I still couldn’t get the file operation menu — the issue followed the file.
However, if I download new songs and add them to the mp3 folder, the file operation menu does appear and everything works.
If I convert one of the problematic MP3 files into a new MP3 file (essentially recreating it), it works again — but I lose all my cues and metadata, which I want to avoid.
I'm using a Mac running macOS Sequoia.
I'm out of ideas and really need help.

Check permissions and if the file(s) in question is/are read-only ?

Also, are these files synced with a cloud drive perhaps?
Posted yesterday @ 6:03 pm
yes it's sync like there other songs there is ok. should I unsync everything, and sync again ?

Updates : I deleted everything on iCloud and every sync and now it's ok. My question : why syncing the songs make this problem. Not for every songs but some ?
