I would love to be able to color code songs in my playlist to keep track of which ones go together.
Or label them in some way, but color would be ideal. Or group them somehow. My shows range far & wide and it would be great to be able to label similar things so I don't have to hunt.
Anyone else?

A few years ago when colour rules and instant filters were added, I took advantage of colour coding all my tracks in the database, like many others did. I made some posts about it, but I can't find them as they were a few years ago. I used quick filters and colour rules extensively, and they are based loosely on the Genre. The reason was that I had a subscription with Promo Only and was being bombarded with 250ish new tunes every month, meaning I didn't have the time to audition every track. Using colour coding I could instantly see what type of Genre each was without auditioning them.
That works great, then I took it to the next level.
My girlfriend who was in the Fire Brigade for 30 years and rose to Commander level overlooked the integration of new software in the brigades computer systems (sadly passed away recently 11.4.25 ) suggested to Marconi Systems that she didn't want to see onscreen equipment that was not useable, fire tenders, equipment out of service, etc, time is essential in the emergency services when lives are at stake. She said that after you have played a song/tune, you don't want to see it in the browser for the rest of the session, which makes sense as DJs don't usually play the same song twice at a gig. So, I implemented her suggestion and programmed my system to remove (temporarily) the Artist/Title from the browser automatically after being played. It works great, there's a button to enable it. All my tunes change to red after the default 'Played' parameter time found in History (45 seconds). They change colour to red before being removed from the browser. Switching the button off restored them to the browser, but still coloured red. At the end of a gig/session, after switching off, all songs/tunes are automatically restored to their original colour.
If you're interested I can supply more info on implementing this setup.
