Topic: Two odd issues this weekend crash on video sample triggered in sample bank and tracks starting about halfway through and out of sync with video.
first crash and restart or ANY issues like this that I've had in forever made my Friday the 13th very interesting.

first - loaded a track, pressed spacebar to start it and it started halfway into the song and the video from the start. out of sync would be a huge understatement. the weirded part was everything worked fine after that for a long while but then played a different music video by the same artist and it did it again. re-analyzed song at end of night to test and it played fine. thought that was the end of it but then the same thing happened again on saturday night. two different music videos one loaded right after the other and both started audio halfway in and the video from the beginning.
super basic computer and mouse setup on a win10 desktop (yes- FINALLY. it has issues but it's not the win7 dinorsaur)

second and more possibly more important:
using sample that I've used in previous builds and never had issues with - a quick 'This is how we do it' drop recorded in VDJ, edited and tightened up in sampler triggered it around midnight and VDJ blinked out & back and resumed playing. tested again at end of night and same thing - crash and restart. tested again with multiple music and video and it's always a video sample triggered in the sample bank that does it. audio samples do not. to make things even weirder - a pre-existing sample loop in the sample bank - does nothing but play the loop normally. still images, spinning logos... all working.
computer at club is a new win10 desktop, 32gb RAM, RTX 3060, current standard build 8615
computer at home is older win10, 32gb RAM, RTX 3050, Early Access build 8630

Regarding the crash, do you have pitchQuality set to 1 by any chance?
Try setting it back to 3

Regarding the video issue, did the waveforms also start from the start? And did they look wrong?

pitchQuality on computer at home (that i don't think i've ever touched or changed... like... ever) is set to 1.
what it's set at the club i don't remember - have had audio issues with new computer and have tried pitchquality at 1,2, and 3 to get rid of distortion - but can't get back in there till possibly Thursday.

and now for some weird reason every time i remove a freshly created sample... it's doing this pop-up window on the left and the spinning blue circle of 'you're gonna close me from the task manager'

waveform looked normal with hotcue start at beginning of song. first time it happened pressed play with spacebar, second time clicked hotcue on screen, when it happened on Saturday I used hotcue to start and after dropping a song on the other deck it did it there too. grabbed mic, talked for a couple seconds while restarting software and then dropped different song in and it played fine. later on i re-analyzed both tracks and they played fine when testing after club closed just like on Friday. trying to remember specific conditions but there was nothing different than usual.

Thanks Adion - sampler crash is fixed and gone here with early access update. did read Groovin's post but after testing i can't get it to crash.

still need to get to club for other issue and should be able to check thursday.

With SaveVideoDecode it works ok .
Without it freeze

safeVideoDecode is indeed still required for NVidia, but has nothing to do with this issue

Here a Screenshot from Crashs ...
It makes a DX11 Error

Yes, so keep safeVideoDecode on if you don't want crashes

Pitchquality on club computer was set to 1 (build 8615)
same tracks that were starting from middle /out of sync have worked normally after being re-analyzed.

and of course the samples are playing like nothing had happened...

will be updating to newer soon as it's made public build (cause reasons)
