Hi,
I'm supposed to "play" DJ at a birthday party
I don't have much of a plan yet though.
I have the Numark Mixtrack Pro fx, to which I have connected headphones.
I have not been able to get pre-listening or cue to work on it.
However, there is a function for pre-listening in Virtual dj on the right. This is now also working. But the volume is far too loud. And I just can't find a setting to adjust it.
Audio setting:
Outputs:
Master jbl wasapi chan1&2 44.1k21ms
Headphones 3- mixtrack pro fx wasapi chan1&2 """"
Preview 3- mixtrack pro fx wasapi chan3&4
2 questions:
How do I control the volume of the headphones within virtual dj?
Is there a way to run the whole thing via the controller? (Only optional, though, because it seems more complicated to me)
I have exactly one month until the gig.
Unfortunately, the person I'm supposed to represent has no idea what the problem is.
I haven't found anything suitable and have already tried a few things.
Somehow I can't understand why there isn't simply a controller for this.
Many desperate greetings

When you open VirtualDJ settings and you go on sound configuration, there's a button with a pitcture of your controller.
PRESS that button.
VirtualDJ will automatically load all the correct audio settings for your controller.
By default, it will use your controller's MASTER output to play sound.
If you want the sound to be heard somewhere else, then AND ONLY THEN, change the "master" line of the audio config window to use the sound interface you want.
Leave the rest (especailly the headphones) intact.
