I have been subscribed to VDJ for a number of years now, however during a gig on weekend VDJ reverted back a number of times to Macbook speakers, when it was applied to Numark Mix Tape Platoinium. only way to sort was to manually reapply... why would this be? is this a software,driver fault or laptop issue.. need to sort asap

This is a communication issue between your computer and your controller.
I would start by using a brand new USB cable.
