Topic: Deck 3 & 4 are reading stems slower than deck 1 & 2
When I load music on deck 3 or 4, VDJ is reading "on demand" even if I choose the "always" option. This problem occurs even on pre-analyzed files. Is anyone else having this problem?

What is maxStemLength set to, how much memory do you have, and how long are the songs in deck 3 and 4?

this happens with any song even if it has already been pre-analyzed, I have the option ''always'' but decks 3 and 4 are analyzing ''on demand'' as per the image I attached before, my settings image attached

maxStemLength (9)

9 means that for deck 1 & 2 songs up to 9 minutes long will be fully loaded, and for other decks up to 4.5 minutes.

I'm not sure why it is only 9 in your case though, unless you manually changed it, it should be a lot bigger for 64gb.

I changed the max rod length to (20) and now it works fine. Is it normal that the set value is different for deck 3 and 4?

Thank you very much for your support

Yes, the calculation to determine the automatic value of stemsMaxLength gives more importance to deck 1 and 2, so other decks use a more strict value to prevent running out of memory.
