Topic: How to show the currently playing song title from VirtualDJ in OBS Studio
Im asking that for shat gp:
Absolutely! Here's a clear step-by-step guide for how to show the currently playing song title from VirtualDJ in OBS Studio, using the text file method (if available in your version):
1. Enable Song Info Output in VirtualDJ
> Note: This feature may depend on your VirtualDJ version (e.g. VirtualDJ Pro).

1. Open VirtualDJ.
2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
3. Open the Options tab.
4. In the search bar, type:
broadcastsonginfo or fileNameFormat.
5. Make sure it's enabled, or format is set to:
"%artist% - %title%".
2. Save Song Info to a Text File
VirtualDJ does not always save this by default. If there's no option to "Save song info to file", use this workaround:

đź›  Workaround: Use History File
1. Go to your VirtualDJ folder (usually):
- Documents > VirtualDJ > History
2. You'll see .m3u or .txt files with date/time stamps.
3. Use a script or external tool to read the latest entry and copy it to a nowplaying.txt file.

1. Open OBS Studio.
2. Add a new Text (GDI+) source.
3. Name it e.g. Now Playing.
4. Check “Read from file”.
5. Browse to your saved file:
e.g. C:\Users\You\Documents\VirtualDJ\nowplaying.txt
6. Style it with font, color, scroll effect etc.

Im not find that :
2. Save Song Info to a Text File
VirtualDJ does not always save this by default. If there's no option to "Save song info to file", use this workaround:

A simple option is to chabge the video video interface, there are plenty of video interfaces with displayed titles and info. Also you can stream directly from VDJ without the need for OBS for most major platforms.

No, you don't need OBS to play videos. You can broadcast both audio and video files directly from VDJ.

I have a windows plugin that can do this, pm me if you want it.
