Hello everybody!
I use Virtual Dj for a while now, and I really like mapping things and creating solutions to my needs. I go through this awesome community and usually I find want I need to use in my mappings.
I use an Akai APC 40 mkII and I have create a mapping to deal with my Stems per track and use the leds on the buttons to create a visual reference of the audio of the stems (VU) to balance the volume, like mixing the track on the go, if I need to cut the bass a little or think the vocal are to loud I visually have that info. I also use it to control the EQ and gain to help me have a better sound before going into the mixer. I have my hotcues in there as well and I also have a button programed to change from the sideview to the sampler but.... and here is my problem... I cannot change the mapping to the other mapping I created to deal with the sampler.
I wish VDJ could alternate mapping settings in a script way so I can map the button that goes to the sampler to automatically change the mapping I have for the sampler and back again.
Do you think this would help you to? Is there another "shady" way to do it without having to go to the preferences and change the mapping manually?
Can this be introduced in some upgrade please?
