Topic: Tracks file path switching between clouddrive, local & online catalog — Stems not working offline
Hi everyone,
I’ve uploaded a good part of my library to Clouddrive via OneDrive, and I’m facing a weird issue with a handful of tracks (around 10 of them):
They’re correctly stored on my local drive with pre-computed stems files.
When my laptop is connected to WiFi, I can play them just fine — stems work, and in the browser they weirdly show up as coming from Clouddrive (see pic 1), while in the tag editor they appear as being on my local drive.
The issue is:
When I’m offline (which is most of the time during gigs), those tracks show up as coming from the local drive in the browser, but from Online Catalog in the tag editor, which is even weirder — and the pre-computed stems are no longer available! (see pic 2)
I first asked ChatGPT, which suggested it could be a database issue and recommended deleting those track entries manually where the File Path is "clouddrive (onedrive)" — but that didn’t solve it.
Any ideas why this happens randomly and what to do to fix it?
