Hey, I am trying to use VDJ for Video playback:
I'd like to fade in and out videos on the left and right deck via their gain. Is that possible?
At the moment I can't make this happen because the position of the crossfader does not allow this behaviour. Is there a way to config this?
- Ignore the crossfader whatsoever
- Use the gain of the video to determine how visible the videos are

Look in video settings, all the options are there.

Well if the options were there I would not ask here.
I linked the video output to the gain. But I still have to move the crossfader for a transition. Is there a way to disable it for video? Currently it's only seperate, linked, or smart and none of them are helping

I think I figured it out. You have to set the video transition to Fade.
EDIT: Still not what I was hoping for but it should do the trick.

You need to use the crossfader so VDJ knows which video to output. If you disable the crossfader you then get a mix of both videos if both faders are up.

Try this instead, it works for me as the crossfader is set to smart and follows the master playing channel.
