I'm currently using VDJ on a desktop Windows computer but was thinking about updating my old laptop to a more modern Macbook eventually.
Currently my entire VDJ installation and library is on an external USB SSD; would I be able to seamlesly use this with a Mac installation and be able to move back and forth between OSes?

if you use a compatible file system on the external drive that works with both OS
I think exFat is one of those but check into it in case i am wrong

I tried in the past and it wasn't great, although I was syncing with the internal drives on both the laptops. The database and history got screwed up so I have just stuck with Windows since.
May work fine if you're using an external drive however it's probably trial and error as most people either stick to one OS or the other.
