Topic: How to Achieve Uniform Jogwheel Sensitivity (360 degrees = 1 bar, regardless of BPM)
Hello, I noticed that how far the jog wheel changes track position is tied to BPM, would it be possible to tie it to beats instead? For example, I calibrated my jog wheel sensitivity so that one 360 degree rotation is exactly one bar (4 beats) at 100 BPM, but if I load a song with a lower bpm, that same singular rotation may only be 3 beats. I'd like the sensitivity to feel consistent across all bpms, does anyone know if this is possible?

setting rpm 4 beats

Are you referring to the RPM setting under the skins section? I set it to 4 and all it did was increase the sensitivity by quite a bit, but one full rotation still corresponds to different beat amounts depending on the BPM of the track. I adjusted my jogSensitivityScratch to account for the increased sensitivity so that one revolution at 109 bpm is 4 beats, but one revolution at 60 bpm is still closer to 2 beats, I want it to be normalized across all bpms so I can count bars better while navigating with the jog wheel. Thanks so much for your quick response btw!

You selected '4 beats' from the drop down for the rpm setting in config?
That should do what you want

I feel stupid lmao, I don't know if I didn't see this the first time or what, I definitely remember changing the RPM setting and it made my sensitivity really high and the rotation speed of the vinyl cover art thing on my skin really slow. I don't remember '4 beats' being there, I think I remember it saying '4 RPM' but I may be making that up as that setting is definitely not there now 😅. I got it working though, thank you for making me look again haha
