I am having a recording issue.
Using RANE ONE controller, Laptop Acer Aspire 3 A315-59.
all music files are legal and brought from Bandcamp, Kniteforce Records and Others.
when mixing and playing choons, all sounds perfect then listening to recording the choons randomly speed up, or really badly distort. I dont use sync button so it's not that, and the speed is way too fast for pitch control, the distort is really bad like it goes robot sounding and is awful.
No logic to it, sometimes I can do a whole mix and only have 1 issue and sometimes I have loads, sometimes the distort is for 5 seconds other 2 mins, the same choon next time around records fine.
debating whether to get a new soundcard or new controller as this is really ruining every mix.
Never had any issues on my old laptop and as far as i can tell they were roughly the same spec.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this with audio or video recording ?
what is the selected filetype of the recording ?
Have you tried with different record filetype ?
