clap is open open-source multicore support and I would love to see this in vdj

Well... Hmmm... I guess they made it because some developers don't like vst3, and this is more like vst2, but with extra features. But you always kind of need to post this image:
That being said, CLAP may take of - become a go-to standard.
It certainly isn't yet - but I guess it could be...
