Topic: Download comes as .txt file.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've tried downloading the Free version this morning and all I keep getting is a 'txt' document with a load of script on it.

Is there a way around this?

 Best Answer Known issue with microsoft edge, use another browser, rename the file extension to .msi, or chase microsoft for a fix.

use a different web browser
 
Downloads as .msi on Opera which is correct. Unless you are trying to get the Mac version but you never said.
 
PC version...

Who in their right mind would use Edge. No chance.
