try the BeatGrid developped by vdj team. You find it with vdj 3.1
Otherwise, you can try boomrang (but a little bit difficult to use) or BeatBox.

If you have a precise idea of a new plug like shaker beats, do not hesitate to ask me.
Shaker beats was made according to Tomyper's (professionnal user like you) request.
