Hey, it's kinda cool if next Atomixmp3 has built-in keyboard so we can use out "computer keyboards" to play additional music (piano, guitar, glockiespel, harp, etc...) while we are mixing.
Put in some live stuff beside mixing live is kinda cool

This really looks like a typical effect plugin application.

I really hope that at least some Atomix users will be up to such challenges.
I am currently doing the groundwork/research to build following plug-ins:
* drive MIDI clock from Atomix' beat algorithm
use : use synths and drum machines "in sync" with the playing tracks
* gaga effect
use : seems to be quite "in demand" when looking through forum ;-)
Don't know whether I will succeed, but at least I'll try...

And another (5 year ?) project which I'm hoping to realise:
* a plug-in, driving step motors to have light fx, controller by an algorithm in between Atomix' beat detection and the step motors (as such interface cards are available with an SDK, it should be possible to do this without being a genuine harware engineer).

just send the midi clock to a midi - dmx converter and use the dmx to control lights (it's the standard in light controlling?)

I wrote a DMX light software some times ago.
Maybe I should work a little on it to add an atomix compatibility, and release it. We'll see.

Well, it seems you're not called Grand Master without reason ;-)))))

If somebody puts in MIDI functionality, I will love you for a long long time.
Better yet, if it can connect to Reason so I can do live loops on my computer beat synchronized with Atomix... that would be so sweet :D
