Hi,
I am looking for the best controller for STEMS mixing in VirtualDJ. I would like to buy maybe secondhand Pioneer RZX. For this reason I would like to ask, if the controller is a good choice for year 2024 and future (I mean support for Windows11,Windiws12... , Apple MacOS .... with M1 M2 M3 Processors ...)

No one can really tell about the future.
For the moment:
1) The unit works "fine" on Windows. It's drivers have a minor bug that Pioneer never fixed, but it's easy to get around. I can confirm that it works fine on Windows 10 and 11
2) The unit works "excellent" on MAC OS
It's a discontinued product. This means no firmware or driver updates. It works very well for me and since it supports "internal" (software) mixer mode, it supports all goodies VirtualDJ has to offer and were not available when the unit come out (such as stems).
If you find it for the right price.. go for it! But nothing is set on stone.

There is a chance that the soundcard won't output any sound AT ALL!.
You have to change some settings in Windows Audio panel, and then the sound comes back.
You have to do this (once) for any USB port your PC may have.

Thank you very much. Do you know exactly what I need to change? - any tutorial?
The second question is: can I edit the skin for displays?

You need to make sure Windows don't use the soundcard both as their default playback or recording device, and you also need to disable exclusive access.
And yes, you can edit the screens skin

What firmware are you running ? I've been given version 1.11 by Pioneer support a while ago (after opening a ticket) and got rid of that exact "no sound" problem. It now works fine 100% of the time, the RZX is my best controller ever. Don't ask me why, they never bothered to put that version on their website, the latest one is 1.10...

This guy has put the 1.11 firmware up on his website.
