Topic: Wont let me use my video ttle?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

renaming the file to be recorded says "invalid name" or something..is the tittle too long,using parenthesis ...or?

where does it say "invalid name"?

And what do you mean by "renaming video title"?
 
probably an illegal char, what was the name?
 
when you set up to record..the last project tittle remains,right?..the you delete that in the explorer window vdj opens,then type in your new project...ive gotten a invalid message then..wierd..never had this..but now it has been a few times..
 
dont know,went thru this time..but it will happen again..I'll try get more details..
