Is there an option to have real time notification for when a new requests lands in the box?

Don't believe there is as yet. A number of unread messages in the "Ask the DJ" browser entry would be perfect.

+1 with an indicator (1) next to "Ask the dj" in the browser we can be sure that we have a new message so we don't have to check it very now and then, and we can react faster to requests

Was one of the first things I noticed once 8.2 came out and I tested the feature. Has been requested already.
Shouldn't be a problem for the devs to add.

At the moment "Ask the Dj" monitors/checks for new messages only when you select the folder on your browser.
If you move away to another folder it stops checking for new messages until you come back. It was designed this way in order to reduce network traffic.

Can we not also have an option tick box to switch to real time notifications as well as the current requests hidden in the folder until we return to look in there?
