Topic: Anyone know how to compile .dll files from .cpp in MS Visual C++ ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a whole bunch of dsp effects written .... and they are all saved as .cpp. How do i compile those to .dll's ? I am desperate to try them out ! The more you can help me... the sooner they'll posted on the effects page !

Thanks for your help guys!

You also wrote some plugins? Or are you speaking about the source codes I made and mailed to you?
For those who are interested: it's a noise gate, a compressor and a vocal remover (I made). I just hace some problems to compile them. If someone can help me out... I use the Borland Free Command Line Tools 5.5.1 DOS Prompt rules!!!
I'm also working on a vocoder.

Greetz, ikke

Yes Ikke .... i'm talking about yours ! Don't worry, I am not going to take credit for them ! (I'm the one testing them out ... not writing them)

What about a "bass kill" plugin/dsp effect??

Should be possible. I'll try to write one (I don't promisse anything!) when my vocoder is ready.

You know you can also use the bass kill shortcut key ?

Or right click on the bass EQ knob
