Topic: Numark NS6II & VDJ - Distortion Issue
Hello

I run VDJ on a powerful Lenovo PC with the Numark NS6II controller. 2 gigs ago out of nowhere as I was deejaying, a distortion sound began coming out of my headphones and the mains (how embarassing). Rebooting the controller resolved it, but it happened again. Any suggestions?

I am currently using a USB C to USB B cable, but I havent had any issues with it. Im going to try going back to the USB A to B to see if that fixes it but doubtful. Latency in the ASIO driver is set to 256 - should I go higher?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much. I think I may have figured part of it out. I had plugged the data USB C cable from controller into the charging port. Shouldnt matter because USB-C is universal put wondering if maybe the temporary noise was from a power surge or something. Hasnt happened since so I'll keep testing.

For latency, this is really driving the delay between controller function and software recognition correct?

Thanks a lot

Hi everybody well I thought I had this figured out the issue well I thought I had this figured out the issue happened again yesterday during a wedding. I had to restart my controller for the Distortion to go away. LatencyMon says the PC is more than fine for live audio. Any thoughts?
