Topic: [NEWS]: VirtualDJ 2025 - with StemSwap sampler - Page: 4
With this new sampler everything is distroyed. I am forced to use the latest version before this 2025 thing.
I use a lot of drum loops and they do not stay in sync properly anymore.
Please add the option to use the old style sampler like we can in stems V1 or V2.

@Andreas Cristian
You re free to use any previous Build you like of course. But if you want to get the new features, fixes, updates and the ones to come, it would be wiser to report any issues you have on a separate topic, so that we fix or help you to fix anything in your workflow.

I am pretty sure that your non-syncing Samples issue is a matter of some settings

I’m having an issue with VirtualDJ 2025 while using hardware controllers (Denon Prime 4 and others). I work as a DJ at weddings and I often use the sampler.

Here’s the problem:
• When I trigger samples from the VirtualDJ laptop GUI, they sync correctly with the Master Deck BPM, just like in VDJ 2024.
• However, when I trigger the hardware sampler pads on any controller, they do not sync with the other deck even when the Master Deck changes.
• In VDJ 2024 (Build 8350), everything worked perfectly — one sampler followed the active deck automatically. In VDJ 2025, it seems each deck has its own sampler, and the pads are strictly tied to the deck they are assigned to.
• I’ve tried adjusting samplerMasterDeck = Master and samplerBeatSync = Yes, but the hardware pads still do not sync automatically.

Is there a way to restore the 2024-style global sampler behavior in VDJ 2025 for hardware controllers, or a workaround so the pads follow the active/master deck BPM like before?

Can lock and unlocked be use to lock a stem in a always mute or always on mode, where once the stem is lock unless you unlock it the normal stem commands will not affect it ?.
